Designed to fill the need for a solid bass voice in the trombone choir.  Note these features: 1).Large brass tone tempered 8" bell. 2). Slide pull to E adds entire extended range, including low B·F tuning attachment, separate from E pull, tunes F to Bb section. 3). Linkage on the F rotor is made of teflon, insures smoother action, eliminates noise. 4). Cushion spring in the first position permits shortening of normal slide position.  --1968 King Trombone Catalog.

This trombone has new transparent baked on lacquer and looks amazing.  Our baked on lacquer is one of our most durable finishes and will last a long time if taken care of properly and is just like what the company used back in the day. The body of the trombone is in great shape and has almost no scratches, there are a few very small ones but they would not show up in the pictures. The engraving is crisp for this era horn. The slide operates smoothly.  All parts of the trombone are stamped with the appropriately matched serial numbers.
